Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, also known as Jandor, the chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and a previous candidate for governor, has called on Lagosians to overwhelmingly support Asiwaju Bola ahead of the 2027 presidential election. In order to accomplish so, he has appointed 376 Lagos4Lagos Ward Chairmen.
At the formal launch of his Grassroots Political Structure, Lagos4Lagos, in all 376 Lagos State wards, Jandor issued the order to ensure President Bola Tinubu’s reelection and the general success of the Lagos APC in 2027.
The purpose of yesterday’s well-attended session in Ikeja, Lagos, was to educate APC members, particularly those who support Adediran, about their responsibilities, the primary one being to secure Bola Tinubu’s election to a second term.
“What we’re doing is preparation for Mr. President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s reelection. We know that campaign hasn’t started, but we believe tomorrow starts today, so the first thing to do is to put our own structure in place across the 376 wards of Lagos State, which is self-funded anyway,” he declared.
Lagos4Lagos has been a movement for the past nine years, according to Jandor, who expressed excitement at the enormous number of people that attended the event.
“Today we inaugurated all the ward chairmen, 376 of them, all the LGA executive, we have state EXCOs, and we have the senatorial leaders,” he stated, discussing his willingness to scour every corner of Lagos to secure Asiwaju’s reelection.
“The Apex leaders are with us. As a result, I’m preparing for my campaign by touring the 376 wards in Lagos State, just like I did for the 2023 election. We have resumed educating the public on the need to support this party in 2027, as well as the actions of the existing administration and the necessity of electing it to another term.
He stated that there won’t be a vacancy in Aso Rock until 2031, but he also emphasized how important it is to be a party member who is willing to follow the party leadership’s choice.
“The structure was put in place to support APC no matter whose name is on the ballot in the state, it’s also to ensure the reelection of the president Asiwaju Bola Tinubu,” he said, making it clear that he has declared his intention to run for state government and urging his loyalist work for its actualization. He also called on his supporters to refuse to be silenced.
“To make everyone feel like they belong, Lagos4Lagos has been reorganized to include both new and old APC members; there is also structure for non-Yorubas.”
In order to spread the good news about Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu throughout Lagos, he urged his supporters to prepare for more grassroots mobilization.
Adediran praised the president’s excellent performance while criticizing the United States’ stance on Nigerian insecurity. He also stated that all of the candidates who have indicated a desire to lead Lagos State are qualified to do so.
He maintained that although the president of Nigeria is a Muslim, he married a Christian, just like himself, and that Nigeria is a secular state without an official religion.
According to Jandor, the United States shouldn’t present us with the story of Muslims murdering Christians if it is going to battle terrorists in Nigeria in November. Nothing compares to Muslims murdering Christians in Nigeria, a sovereign state.
He defended the policies of President Bola Tinubu, such as the 15% fuel tax imposed on petroleum product importers.
