Michael Collins Ajereh, better known as Don Jazzy, is a well-known Nigerian music producer and the head of Mavin Records. Despite his success and notoriety, he has disclosed that he still has anxieties about marriage, love, and relationships.

In a recent interview, the 42-year-old hitmaker—who was previously married in 2003 but divorced two years later—spoke openly about his changing perspectives on love, spirituality, and personal development.

“There are both good and bad ones. Before my mother passed away, my parents were much in love. On Monday, November 3, Don Jazzy stated on HabbyFX’s YouTube channel, “We see examples like that that make you believe in relationships and crave it and want something like that.”

The Mavin CEO stated that public relationship problems on social media have made him wary of commitment, even though he is inspired by love stories like those of his late parents.

“We do have some poor examples, both male and female. He claimed that some males are violent and persistent cheaters.

“And now I’m afraid when it comes out on social media, relationship breakups, or people washing their dirty linen in public.”

He acknowledged that he no longer finds it easy to be vulnerable in relationships.

“You attempt to show vulnerability to just one person.” I’m still waiting on God. He grinned and continued, “They said you will have butterflies in your stomach when you find the one.”

Don Jazzy further disclosed that his reluctance to get married again is mostly due to financial concerns, citing instances of men losing their wealth following divorce settlements.

“A man who doesn’t have a prenuptial agreement, like in America, has to lose half of everything he has worked for in his life,” he clarified.

Some people who have endured hardships throughout their lives are forced to divide their properties upon divorce. I used to be afraid of all those things. My generation will benefit from the money I have accumulated.

“I’ve dated before, but I’m single.”
The music mogul acknowledged that he dated following his divorce but affirmed that he is still unmarried when asked if he had given love another shot.

“To be honest, I’ve dated before. I’m not dating right now. God’s time is the best, but don’t worry. All I want is the proper person. He added, “I’m not sure if I’m the ideal guy for somebody’s daughter.

Don Jazzy stated that he has developed both spiritually and emotionally and that he is still striving to improve himself.

“Am I the perfect companion? Do I have enough self-control to be with just one person? I ask God to help me become a better person while I work on myself,” he remarked.

“I’ve improved as a person over the years. I was a threat when I was younger, therefore I’m growing older and wiser.

Don Jazzy said that it was hard to choose a favorite artist because he finds inspiration in so many.

He laughed and continued, “It’s not as easy as that for me because, as a creative person, or like a music producer, like that siren I’m hearing now is giving me an idea for beats.”

“I think Johnny Drille is great; he has a lot of talent. He is an all-around artist. However, Wizkid, Davido, Burna, 2Face, D’banj, and Olamide are the individuals in the nation who have advanced the culture.

The Mavin CEO reportedly discussed his daily schedule and disclosed that he now spends the most of his time indoors and depends on his team to manage operations.

“I spent more time outdoors and was constantly on the go when I was younger. However, I now assign tasks. “I’ve improved now,” he declared.

“I’m always inside, whether it’s my home, the office, or the studio, and they’re all nearby.” When a fire breaks out, I have personnel in place who can put it out.

In his company operations, he emphasized the value of teamwork. It is impossible to accomplish on one’s own. He said, “Even though God is all-powerful, He cannot accomplish everything on His own.”

Don Jazzy said that while he still believes in God, he is more cautious about organized religion.

“I was born believing in God. However, given the current state of affairs, I start to doubt churches. However, I do believe in God,” he declared.
