The Grammy-winning Nigerian artist Burna Boy, whose real name is Damini Ogulu, has encouraged his peers to focus on global business rather than just local success.
According to reports, on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, the artist announced this on his Instagram story.
Burna Boy emphasized that Nigerian fans and social media surveys should not fool his colleagues, adding that they will not crowd stadiums for performers elsewhere in the world.
According to the “Crazy Things” crooner’s analysis of stream income, one million streams in Nigeria are worth about $300–€400, whereas in the West, they are worth $3000–€4000.

He says it’s not worth celebrating when you’re at the top of Nigeria’s music charts.

Other news: Nigerian musician Orezi has commented on the recent Lamborghini controversy involving Burna Boy, a Grammy winner, and Sophia Egbueje, a well-known socialite.
According to Naija News, Orezi disclosed in an interview with Echo Room that he had previously offered to purchase a house for a woman in return for sex but had fallen through on his pledge.
He asserts that it is OK for males to break their commitments to women, while highlighting the fact that women also break their vows to remain faithful.
