Top Nigerian football players made a big impression for their teams in Europe and America last weekend, scoring goals, dishing out assists, and thrilling spectators with their performances.
Prominent Nigerian football players who were instrumental in their teams’ victories were Deborah Abiodun, Alex Iwobi, Nathan Tella, Cyriel Dessers, and Victor Osimhen.
Galatasaray, Turkey’s Victor Osimhen in
During Galatasaray’s decisive 5-1 victory over Eyüpspor in Turkey, Victor Osimhen maintained his incredible play.
The striker for the Super Eagles demonstrated his complete offensive ability by setting up Roland Sallai’s first goal and then scoring his own in the second half.
He scored his 31st goal of the season, which is the same as his personal best total from Napoli’s 2022–2023 Serie A championship campaign.
Osimhen is now firmly established as one of Europe’s top forwards thanks to his unrelenting efforts, which have allowed him to approach Galatasaray’s record for the most goals scored by a foreign player in a single season.

Iwobi is having his best Premier League season to date, scoring nine goals and dishing out six assists in 34 games.
