Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has expressed concern about potential injuries in his squad as they prepare for the Europa League final.
Ruben Amorim, 40, is concerned about keeping his players healthy and has highlighted the importance of winning the final against Tottenham in Bilbao on May 21.
Tottenham secured their berth in the final with a 2-0 victory over Bodo/Glimt in Norway, while Manchester United came from behind to win convincingly 4-1.

Now, both Premier League teams hope to improve their seasons by winning trophies and qualifying for the Champions League.

Amorim noted, “My main focus is on ensuring that we do not sustain any injuries leading up to the final.” “Winning the final is critical for us; without it, our success thus far is meaningless.”
He emphasized the importance of having a full team against Tottenham, as well as remaining competitive, being fortunate, and finishing clinically.

Addressing the challenge ahead, he underlined the same hardships of himself and Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou, emphasizing the importance of the final for both teams.

He stated, “It’s a difficult period for us both, and it’s evident that one of us will come out on top. We are prepared for a fantastic final, and we want to win.”

In a related note, Amorim praised Mason Mount and Kobbie Mainoo for their outstanding performances in the 4-1 win over Athletic Bilbao in the UEFA Europa League semi-final at Old Trafford.

Mount had a significant influence, scoring two goals, while Casemiro and Rasmus Hojlund provided crucial strikes.

After the game, Amorim expressed his gratitude to Mount and Mainoo, both of whom made big contributions as substitutes.

“I am really happy for Mason Mount. His passion and hard work are admirable, and he always shows a great commitment to the team. “I also see enormous potential in Kobbie Mainoo,” he added.
