A 26-year-old banker named Osemudiamen Idemudia vanished inexplicably on his way home from work.
Osemudiamen’s father, Julius Idemudia, said in a statement that his son was last seen on Friday, May 9.
Osemudiamen Idemudia, a 26-year-old banker from Lagos, vanished without explanation on Friday, May 9, while making his way home from work, leaving his family inconsolable.

Julius Idemudia, Osemudiamen’s father, told Punch Metro that his son, who worked in a bank’s Point-of-Sale (POS) division, had left his office in Ikota to go to the bank’s CMS headquarters on Lagos Island for a meeting with a senior employee.
Julius claims that Osemudiamen traveled with a colleague, but they were told that the meeting had been rescheduled until Monday when they arrived at CMS. Following that, the two men parted ways, and Osemudiamen was never seen or heard from again.

They split up when they finally arrived at CMS. It was anticipated that Osemudiamen would take a bus to Iyana Ipaja as normal, and then another one to Igando. However, we started to worry when it grew late and we hadn’t heard from him. We set off the alarm when there was no communication for a full day. He hasn’t gotten back to us since. Worry weighs heavily on our hearts. We are really worried about his safety and wellbeing because this is so different from him.

The family’s worries about his safety were heightened when Julius stated that his son’s disappearance was wholly out of character.
“We have filed a missing person’s case at the Igando Police Station, and we are currently working to meet with the bank’s chief security officer to conduct additional investigation into his disappearance.”

The public is still being urged by Osemudiamen’s family to provide any helpful information that can aid in his recovery, and search efforts are still on.
