Bimpe Akintunde Reacts to Monalisa Stephen’s Death

The loss of plus-sized activist Monalisa Stephen is being lamented by Yoruba Nollywood actress Bimpe Akintunde.
The CEO of Best of Nollywood, Seun Oloketuyi, revealed the actress’s passing in Lagos after she suffered from internal hemorrhage and low blood sugar.
Yoruba Nollywood actress Bimpe Akintunde has expressed her profound sadness at the untimely death of Monalisa Stephen, a well-known plus-sized campaigner and body-positivity champion.

The Chief Executive Officer of Best of Nollywood (BON), Seun Oloketuyi, initially conveyed the news of Monalisa’s passing on Instagram on Wednesday. Oloketuyi reports that Monalisa died in Lagos on Tuesday, May 13th, following a reported battle with internal hemorrhage and low blood sugar. The devastating news was confirmed by her immediate younger sister, he added.
In response to the news, Bimpe Akintunde expressed her grief on social media and bemoaned the fact that Monalisa failed to support her during her darkest hours. She expressed how unexpected and devastating the loss feels and asked why the late campaigner suffered in quiet.
