Verydarkman, a well-known Nigerian activist and social media influencer, recently shared a very personal and surprising news on the internet: he recently learned that he had the AS genotype, which has devastated and disappointed him.

The outspoken individual claimed that he had always thought he was an alcoholic. But the results of a recent genotype test indicated otherwise. For him, the news was especially distressing because it eliminated the chance of getting married to any of the three women he was interested in—all of whom are AS.
Given the possibility of having children with sickle cell disease, many Nigerians take genotype compatibility very seriously when forming relationships. Verydarkman accepted this fact and said the outcome dashed any hopes he had of forming a relationship with any of his crushes.

He didn’t merely convey his experience to win sympathy, as is his custom. Rather, he gave his followers a wake-up call, telling them to find out their genotype early in life, especially before entering into committed romantic partnerships.

Part of what he said: “They just told me my blood group and genotype now. I’ve always believed that I was an alcoholic. They told me to ask some hotties when I feel there’s a chance. The first one says “na AS,” followed by “na AS” in the second and third.
