Ikechukwu Ogbonna, better known by his stage name IVD, is a controversial car trader who has talked candidly about the emotional toll of spending more than three years apart from his five children.
IVD disclosed that he has not had any touch with his children and that they have been forcibly separated during an appearance on The Honest Bunch podcast.
He was worried about their health.
They took my five children hostage. I haven’t seen them yet. It’s been almost three years now. I haven’t seen my children. I have no idea how they’re doing. IVD stated, “I don’t speak with them on the phone.”
According to the father of five, he has been essentially shut off from his children by their maternal family.
The car dealer claimed that he has found peace with his new partner, relationship therapist Blessing Okoro, also known as Blessing CEO, despite the difficult circumstances.

IVD strongly refuted charges of infidelity in his new relationship when asked about them.
“God forbid. He declared, “I swear with my life,” demonstrating his loyalty.
Remember how IVD’s marriage to his late wife, Bimbo, ended tragically? In October 2022, she died in a fire in their Lekki house.
The couple’s 16-year marriage was reportedly characterized by domestic violence, with both parties accusing each other of different wrongdoings.
