According to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) will lead the opposition coalition that would unseat the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2027.
The ADC would never permit Nigeria to become a one-party state, Atiku pledged.
Three weeks after the alliance accepted the ADC, he boasted, rival political groups were on edge.
Over the weekend, the former vice president, accompanied by Prof. Bayode Fakunle, addressed at the unveiling and inauguration of the Ekiti State ADC Executive Council in Ado Ekiti.
The former presidential contender claimed that the ADC will transform Nigerian politics and that it is for all Nigerians.

“ADC was only introduced roughly three weeks ago, and in just two weeks, it has taken over as the nation’s most powerful party, and all other parties are already on edge,” he said.
“ADC is for all Nigerians; it is a party that will transform this nation’s political landscape; everyone is welcomed with open arms, and with God’s grace, this party will assume national leadership by 2027.”
Several prominent political leaders are members of the newly established ADC, which founded only a few weeks ago.
In 2027, the party has promised to make sure it defeats Tinubu.
Atiku may run for the party’s presidential ticket in 2027, according to current indications.
