Jim Iyke Questions Feminism: “Do You Not Understand Its Falsehood?
According to veteran Nollywood actor Jim Iyke, a women’s magazine deliberately promoted modern feminism as a sales gimmick, which ultimately evolved into a philosophy that exhorts women to completely shun men.
In a recent interview with The EchoRoom, the movie star reportedly shared his opinions on contemporary feminism, calling it a movement that has deviated from its initial intent and now verges on criminality and deception.
Iyke maintained that although the early feminist movements sought to solve basic problems such as gender inequality and patriarchy, the modern movement has devolved into a perverted ideology that promotes needless rivalry between the sexes.
The thespian claims that some women are taking modern feminism too far, and that it has become a standard and a way of life.

“I think it’s a crime, a form of assault,” he stated. The people who did this—I won’t name the magazine, of course—started a cunning marketing drive to increase sales. Who were their main readers? Ladies. In order to question the established quo and compete with men in the same field, they developed an ideology.
Some women completely accepted the philosophy, but this effort went too far.
They came to the conclusion that the entire philosophy of “we don’t need a man, we can do anything a man can do better” became more intense and exaggerated. It has now become a new cultural norm and a way of life.
“What initially causes me to doubt the ideology is the double standard of it all. Do you not realize that it is a lie? The duplicitous approach? Men and women, in my opinion, have different duties, and genuine balance is reached when they cooperate harmoniously. They still don’t grasp that.
