Ibom Air Incident: Simi Demands Arrest of Person Who Posted Comfort Emmason’s Half-Naked Video

The viral video of Comfort Emmanson, an Ibom Air passenger who was ejected from an aircraft with her chest totally exposed, has prompted a response from Nigerian musician Simisola Kosoko.
According to reports, the event happened on an Ibom Air aircraft from Uyo to Lagos on Sunday.

Emmanson allegedly attacked the flight’s purser after landing, removing her wig, hurling her glasses to the ground, and attempted to wield a fire extinguisher as a weapon.

After being restrained by security personnel, she was arrested, charged, and sent under remand at Kirikiri Correctional Centre. Since then, Ibom Air has banned her for life.

Simi responded by drawing attention to the privacy violation brought about by the unfiltered footage, which made Emmanson’s nude chest visible to millions of people online.

She emphasized that such exposure should also result in punishment and questioned why the person who recorded and uploaded the video had not been held responsible.

“So let’s say the lady is actually mad and did too much,” she wrote. Her being pulled off the plane was captured on camera, and once she was exposed in that way, it was posted online without being edited or blurred. Funny.

Personally, I’d like to know who uploaded the video and why nobody is taking responsibility for it. Aunty will be prosecuted, but she should also be punished for willingly sharing her half-naked photo online for millions of people to see when fewer than ten people saw it in the first place. Because one craziness cannot be condemned and another left unchecked.
