A prominent Nigerian musician, Charly Boy, has warned politicians not to tamper with the results of the general election in 2027.

In an interview with Rudolf Okonkwo on 90MinutesAfrica, Charly Boy warned that the upcoming national poll will be a turning point for the nation.

“Rig and die” is the catchphrase for the upcoming election, the septuagenarian, also known as Area Fada, added.

“Nigeria’s election in 2027 will be a turning point. Anyone planning to rig ought to be prepared to die. It’s rig and die.

“Because by that point, our eyes were clear.” E don’t make a tiny o. The events of 2026 will force Nigerians to choose between bringing about a revolution in their nation or continuing in this way,” he stated.

The performer went on to say that the only way to combat poor government is to guarantee credible elections.

“Only when our votes start to count will bad governance in Nigeria be addressed. Therefore, how our votes will be counted in 2027 should be our top priority right now,” he continued.

The septuagenarian weighed in on the recent decision by the Lagos state government to rename the “Charly Boy Bus Stop” in Bariga, calling it “outright silly and a bloody distraction.”

Area Father claims that helping the millions of Nigerians who go to bed hungry every day is his top priority.
