Opeyemi Ayanwale, also known as Imisi, the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 10, has stated that she was shocked to win the just finished season of the reality show.
Imisi clarified in a post-show interview with Arise TV that she wasn’t dressed appropriately for the event and wasn’t anticipating winning when she took the stage on Sunday.
Prior to being declared the winner, she also discussed coping with anxiousness.
“I was shocked to win the reality program. To be honest, I didn’t think I would win. Even the sound of the audience chanting my name made me nervous before the show. When I was declared the winner, I was taken aback.
Since I don’t feel comfortable in heels, I wore Crocs on the stage. “I didn’t even prepare for the live performance,” she said.
Recall that Imisi won Big Brother Naija Season 10 on Sunday, defeating her closest rival, Dede, by a significant margin.
On Tuesday, she was given her N150 million grand prize, which included a brand-new Innoson SUV and N80 million in cash.
