Regina Daniels’ Parents Reunite to Seek Son’s Release
Nollywood star, Regina Daniels, has expressed profound joy over the reconciliation of her long-estranged parents, describing their reunion as a long-awaited moment of peace for her family.
The actress claimed in a touching Facebook post on Thursday that her parents, who had been “sworn enemies” for years, put aside their disagreements just to make her happy.
Daniels wrote that the reconciliation came with no hidden motives, adding that she could not help but reflect on how far her family had come.
“Two concluded sworn enemies reuniting with no negative ulterior motive other than their daughter’s happiness. And I dare question God for putting me in this situation?” She uttered those words.
The actress revealed that both parents are currently in Abuja working together to secure the release of her brother, Sammy, who is reportedly being detained.
She vowed to personally step in if needed, expressing frustration over the extended detention.
“Sammy’s detainment is taking way too long but we will get him out even if I have to march there myself and create a storm! Since they want me!” she wrote.
In her poignant post, Daniels also praised the strength and character of her parents, calling her father as a great legal mind and her mother, actress Rita Daniels, as a resilient woman committed to her children.
“My father is a lawyer. Actually one of the biggest back in the day but Nigeria occurred. I’ll give you more details about my mother and father later. She’s a powerhouse! They would do anything for their children. I love you, mom and dad! This is all I actually ever wanted,” she added.
