Numerous Security Chiefs have publicly praised Mr. Oluwatosin Ajayi, Director General of State Services, for providing them with the intelligence needed to carry out their official responsibilities.
The heads of almost every paramilitary group and sister security agency in the nation, as well as the former chief of defense staff, have continued to value the Director General’s high degree of cooperation. Numerous members of the various paramilitary groups have freely acknowledged that the DG and SSS’s assistance has played a significant role in their achievements. We think the government and the president can rely on him. Given the current situation in the nation, he is unquestionably a very reliable asset. As some of us have already noted, the nation needs Security Chiefs who are reliable and able to always give the President the truth. It is crucial to remember that there are numerous security issues that could divert the president and the government during this period.
The spread of the insurgents’ regrouping in the North East, the reunion of lawless bandits and herdsmen in the North West, planned and coordinated armed attacks in the North Central, and the widening political divides in the majority of the country are some of these security issues.
The penetration of subversive groups across the country’s permeable borders is equally unsettling.

We think the Director General could contribute to the country’s and the government’s continued security. He is a valuable asset needed to stabilize the fledgling democracy of the nation.
