Bishop David Oyedepo, the Chancellor of Covenant University in Ota, Ogun State, has counseled the nation’s youth to assume complete responsibility for their life in order to avoid future failure.

In an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Tuesday in Ota, Oyedepo, who is also the President of Living Faith Church International, offered the counsel.

Every great destiny comes at a price, he claims, and no one is a failure unless they find someone to blame.

Oyedepo emphasized that a person who does not assume responsibility at an early age will undoubtedly become a liability in the future.

He urged the young people to adopt the virtue of responsibility, pointing out that they would have no one to blame if they failed in the future.

“Your decision determines whether you succeed or fail in life.

“Every star has a scar, and every star’s scar represents sacrifice.

“You have no chance if you leave your life up to chance,” he declared.

Oyedepo added that nothing diminishes a man’s value more than a lack of character and urged the young people to adopt an integrity-based lifestyle.

He claims that it is clear that young people are the ones the world is waiting for and that they cannot afford to let destiny and the bright future they have ahead of them down.
