Skit maker from Nigeria President Bola Tinubu and Nigerian senators have come under fire from Nollywood actor Debo Adebayo, better known by his stage name Mr. Macaroni, for the country’s increasing number of terrorist attacks and mass kidnappings.

According to reports, Mr. Macaroni’s remarks came after the most recent terrorist incident in Niger State, in which children and employees of St. Mary’s School, a Catholic school in the Papiri neighborhood of Agwara Local Government Area, were kidnapped.

Mr. Macaroni criticized Tinubu’s security management in a post on his 𝕏 handle on Friday, claiming that his “incompetence” is to blame for the ongoing abduction of pupils.

The performer also chastised the Senate for not calling President Tinubu to address the nation’s recent insecurity.

“President Tinubu, you said you had all the answers to end terrorism!” he wrote. You claimed that a president is incompetent if they are unable to defend the people.

“Your incapacity is to blame for any kidnapping of schoolchildren! You are responsible for the terrorist attack that has resulted in the deaths of Nigerians.

“And to the Senate of Nigeria! Oh my god! You folks are so worthless! Swearing loyalty to the President you are meant to be checking and balancing, our Senate sings, “on your mandate we shall stand.”

“On behalf of the Nigerian people you should be representing, you are unable to even call the President and ask questions! However, they are adept at distributing our money (prayers) to their mailboxes and using the same authority that Nigerians have bestowed upon them to oppress them! A lot of embarrassment!
