Death of Bayelsa Deputy Governor Heartbreaking and Painful – Makinde

Seyi Makinde, the governor of Oyo State, has called the passing of Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, the deputy governor of Bayelsa State, “a terrible and painful loss to the state and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The PDP family, the Bayelsa State Government, the state’s citizens, and the deceased’s personal family all received the governor’s sympathies.

He hailed Senator Ewhrudjakpo as a brave democrat and a devoted party man, and he begged to God to grant his soul rest.

Additionally, he prayed for the state’s citizens and the family to have the strength to deal with the loss.

He stated: “I learned on Thursday that our brother, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State, had passed away.

He was a devoted party member who prioritized loyalty and dedication to democracy before self-interest, therefore his passing is both heartbreaking and a tragic loss to the state he served till his last breath and to us in the PDP.

“I offer my sincere condolences to his family, the government, and the good people of Bayelsa State. I also ask God to grant his soul rest.”

“I also ask God to grant the state and his immediate family the strength to deal with the loss.”
