Nigerian politician Natasha Akpoti has been openly accused by Nollywood actress Doris Ogala of fabricating testimony against Senate President Akpabio.
The actress reportedly posted on social media, claiming to have proof that Akpoti allegedly hired and compensated people to deceive the public and damage the senator’s name.
According to Doris, she has financial records, voice recordings, and other evidence that show how people were allegedly coerced into making false statements.
She emphasized that she does not wish to deceive anyone and that her disclosures are meant to correct the record.
The actress also threatened to sue Akpoti if she refuted the allegations.
Doris Ogala and Natasha Akpoti’s disagreement is linked to past disputes, such as the events surrounding Regina Daniels’ brother’s detention.
Doris noted that Akpoti did not behave as expected during that time, and the issue came up again after Akpoti accused Senator Akpabio of sexual harassment.
After a disagreement over seating arrangements intensified during plenary sessions, the Nigerian Senate suspended Akpoti-Uduaghan for six months for misbehavior and violating Senate regulations.
According to Doris, the true sufferer of these disputes is Senator Akpabio rather than Akpoti.
She claimed that the problem is a private affair between her and Akpoti rather than an assault on the public, and she pledged to make all evidence public.
The actress emphasized her resolve to expose dishonesty and manipulation wherever it occurs by citing other instances in which she stood against misconduct.
