Angela Okorie, a singer and actress from Nollywood, has responded to Italy’s recent limits on LGBTQ+ parenting.
According to reports, the Italian government recently passed laws that forbid homosexual and lesbian couples from having children, prohibit the listing of non-biological parents on birth certificates, and make surrogacy overseas illegal.
In response, Angela expressed her support for the change on her Instagram story, calling same-sex parenting unacceptable and casting doubt on the couple’s capacity to raise kids.
The single mother also connected her beliefs to her beliefs, advocating for what she called a “spiritual cleansing” against behaviors that she believes to be immoral.
“Same-sex couples are not okay,” she wrote. They lack the mental stability necessary to instruct children. In the name of Jesus, amen, we proclaim divine sanitation everywhere. We must put an end to all of that nonsense.
In other news, Nigerian comedian Adesokan Adedeji Emmanuel, better known online as Shank Comics, has responded to the resurfacing of a previous social media post that praised the convicted American rapper Diddy’s “mindset” and provoked strong criticism.
According to Naija News, Shank expressed admiration for Diddy’s “perspective to the grind” and adaptability in the previous article, pointing out that the music tycoon “got lost in the pursuit of power.”
Shank stressed that he was not endorsing Diddy in any manner in a statement on his 𝕏 Twitter during the online uproar.
He said that the previous social media post was a “misguided attempt” to allude to a movie villain.
