The airline said the return of the route follows the reopening of Ibadan Airport to commercial operations after a period of closure.
With normal activities restored at the airport, Air Peace noted that it is moving swiftly to meet renewed passenger demand from Ibadan, Oyo State, and surrounding communities that rely on efficient access to Abuja for business, governance, and social engagements.
Under the resumed schedule, fares on the Ibadan–Abuja route will begin from N95,000, a pricing structure the airline described as competitive and passenger-friendly, particularly during the peak festive travel season.
The development is expected to provide travellers with a reliable alternative to long-distance road journeys, while improving convenience and safety.
The airline explained that the reinstated Ibadan service is part of a wider operational expansion across its domestic network. This includes the recent resumption of flights to Warri and the deployment of additional frequencies on several routes nationwide, introduced to manage increased passenger traffic during the yuletide period and to sustain network growth into 2026.
Air Peace also highlighted that the resumption is being supported by the continued expansion of its fleet, following the recent delivery of its third Embraer 190 aircraft.
The aircraft addition, the airline said, will strengthen operational resilience, enhance schedule integrity, and improve overall service efficiency across its domestic routes.
Reiterating its corporate vision, Air Peace stated that the Ibadan–Abuja flights align with its commitment to connecting more cities, opening up underserved markets, and facilitating socio-economic development through dependable air transport services.
Passengers were encouraged to make early bookings through the airline’s website, mobile application, or authorised travel agents to benefit from the introductory fares.
