For the 2026 Batch “A” Stream 1 orientation exercise, 2,050 members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) have been sent to Bauchi State.
This was said on Tuesday in Bauchi by Mr. Kufre Umoren, the state NYSC Coordinator for Bauchi.
He stated that registration would take place at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Wailo in the state’s Ganjuwa Local Government Area between January 21 and January 23.
According to him, the orientation exercise will conclude on February 10 and the corps members’ swearing-in ceremony is scheduled for January 23.
According to Umoren, each corps member would be admitted to the camp once they had received the necessary certification to be considered legitimate graduates.
He claimed that in order to prevent intrusion or impersonation, the corps members will be discreetly screened.
Corps members are advised to rigorously follow all camp rules and regulations, and registration dates have been announced.
He declared, “Defaulters will be sanctioned in accordance with the scheme’s existing rules.”
Additionally, the plan discouraged late-night travel and advised corps members to exercise caution.
As a result, the state coordinator assigned corps members the responsibility of being on time, being diligent, and adhering to the dress code, threatening to punish those who failed to do so.
