As Nigeria gets ready to play Ghana in the much-anticipated Unity Cup match on Wednesday at the Gtech Community Stadium in Brentford, United Kingdom, Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa has urged Nigerians to support their country.
Speaking to the Super Eagles media team in London, Ahmed Musa stressed the value of ongoing support for the squad while acknowledging the disappointment that many fans have recently experienced.

Musa acknowledged that many Nigerians are, in my opinion, really dissatisfied with the Super Eagles. However, I will always urge people to simply continue helping us, as that is what we are in dire need of at the moment. Their assistance will significantly affect us.

After a lengthy layoff, the 32-year-old forward, who presently plays for Kano Pillars in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), is making a highly anticipated comeback to the national squad. Musa last played for the Super Eagles in Côte d’Ivoire during the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
