Angel Smith Hits Back At Lesbianism Allegation, Slams Societal Hypocrisy
Angel Smith, a former housemate on Big Brother Naija, responded to criticism regarding a video that showed her with a woman.
The woman and the reality TV star were seen in the footage giving one other a strong embrace. This sparked rumors that the two might be lesbians.
Angel responded by saying in a Snapchat message that being called a lesbian is not derogatory.
She drew attention to the contradiction in society’s objectives, pointing out that her relationship and sexuality are closely examined yet pedophiles are frequently let unpunished.
She maintained that she is free to make her own decisions because it is her life and she is an adult.
Angel, who clarified that she is not homophobic, also emphasized the value of respecting different opinions and diversity.
Noting that opinions are ephemeral and will eventually be forgotten, she brushed off the criticism.

“Keep in mind that this is my life. You folks didn’t discover something hidden. I let my pals to upload it after I had already done so because—guess what? Can you believe that this is my life, that I am an adult, and that I am free to do as I please? I know it is astonishing.
