Bala Mohammed Validly Elected Bauchi Governor – Supreme Court
The Supreme Court has declared Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state as the validly elected governor of the state.
The voyet dismissed the appeal filed, challenging his election and declaration by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, as the validly elected governor of the state.
The court said the appeal against his election lacked merit amd was dismissed
Both the tribunal and court of appeal had dismissed Sadique Abubakar of the APC’s appeals aganist the governor’s election for for lacking in merit.
Abubakar contended that several electoral documents used during the poll were not properly filled.
