Bambam Reflects on Marriage to Teddy A: ‘We Felt the Foundation Wasn’t Right’
Nollywood actress Bamike Adenibuyan, better known by her stage name Bambam, has talked candidly about her marriage to Tope Adenibuyan, better known by her stage name Teddy A, from Big Brother Naija.
The former housemate of Big Brother Naija made an appearance on her husband’s Echo Room show.
She reportedly disclosed that there were times during their relationship when they wondered if they were genuinely matched, believing that their tie might not be solid.
In light of their personal experiences, Bambam suggested that couples think about postponing physical contact until they were sure they wanted to get married.
According to her, avoiding s*x early on in a relationship can help create a stronger basis for a long-term engagement.
“We often wondered why we were together. We felt like the foundation wasn’t right,” she added. If you can avoid having sex until you’re certain you want to be married, I would advise anyone dating to do so.
In related developments, Bambam disclosed that, even in the absence of kissing sequences, her performances are structured to give the impression that the individuals she portrays are in actual relationships.
She referred to this as her own acting style.
