Kola has reportedly declared her love for Dede, but she is demanding a platonic relationship, claiming that she has a romantic relationship outside the home as justification.
Kola has been pressuring her for a relationship despite her justification, even questioning her closeness to Koyin and Jason Jae, two other male housemates.
Following his therapy appointment with Ibifubara and his journal session with Biggie, Kola complained to a number of his housemates on Tuesday that Dede was manipulating his emotions.
Kola told Sabrina that he had realized that his relationship with Dede was starting to resemble that of Ozo and Nengi, his 2020 Lockdown housemates, and he didn’t want that to happen.
He pledged to distance himself from Dede, emphasizing that he hopes his team will alter the story of his relationship with her from being similar to Ozo’s with Nengi.
Sabrina: [Dede], you are the only one who is devoted to her.

Kola: “She’s sending conflicting messages.”
Sabrina: “God alone knows what she talks about with Jason Jae and Koyin.”
Kola: “I hope my team changes the story about Ozo and Nengi; when I come out, I’ll do the same.”
As you may remember, Ozo showed romantic interest in Nengi during the Big Brother Naija Lockdown Season, but she also remained friends with him, focusing on their relationship outside the home.
Nengi’s actions occasionally gave the impression that she relished Ozo’s love and attention, despite her position.
As a result, some viewers made fun of Ozo and called him “a simp.”
