BREAKING: Mass Protest in Abuja as Youths Seek Freedom for VeryDarkMan

Some young people protested the arrest and detention of Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman (VDM), a social media personality and human rights campaigner, on Monday by taking to the streets of Abuja, the capital city of Nigeria.
The young people, carrying a variety of signs, called on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to release VeryDarkMan right now.

The demonstrators, who were reportedly spotted in the Wuse neighborhood immediately after the Berger bridge, denounced VDM’s arrest and imprisonment as unlawful.

In the Maitama district of the country’s capital, they also promised to bring their protest to the Nigerian Human Rights Commission (NHRC).
