Five persons, driver and four passengers, on Tuesday survived an accident which occurred closed Banex in Abuja.
It was gathered that the passengers had boarded the taxi from Zuba to Area 1, before the unfortunate incident occurred.
The Mazda car with registration number SUL-819-MO was said to have 30 car batteries in the trunk. This, according to one of the passengers, led to accident.
One of the survivors, revealed that they boarded the car from Zuba to Bernex, not knowing that the driver of the car had loaded the trunk with used batteries.
He blamed the driver for overloading the car which resulted in the accident.
The survivors reportedly sustained injuries and were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. They thanked God for surviving the incident, although they sustained Injury but no life was lost.
