Eedris Abdulkareem Slams Seyi Tinubu: ‘Your Papa No Try, Too Many Empty Promises
The administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has come under fire from veteran Nigerian artist Eedris Abdulkareem, who claims it is full of hollow promises.
According to reports, Abdulkareem encouraged President Seyi Tinubu’s son to tell his father about the plight of Nigerians in a new song called “Tell Your Papa.”
Remember how Seyi Tinubu caused a stir on the internet in March when he called his father the best president in Nigerian history while speaking to a group of young people in Adamawa State?
Abdulkareem, however, attacked Seyi in his new song, emphasizing that the president’s son was indifferent to the suffering of Nigerians due to insecurity and economic difficulties.

According to the artist, Seyi ought to let his father know about the recent wave of kidnappings in Nigeria and the many fatalities brought on by the country’s present economic policies.
“Seyi, tell your papa country hard,” he urged. Inform your father that people die. Don’t pass jagajaga, tell your papa.
“How far, Seyi? Your papa won’t try, I promise. Too many unfulfilled promises. Take this message to him on behalf of Nigerians: Nigerians are killed by kidnappers.
“Try traveling by road without your security, Seyi. It will make you understand the suffering of other Nigerians.” You don’t have to worry about vulnerability because you travel private jets.
