Chelsea Football Club has confirmed alterations to the kick-off times for two of their Premier League away matches scheduled for September 2025.

In a statement released on Wednesday via their official website, the west London club announced that their trip to face Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium will now kick off at 8:00 p.m., maintaining its original date of Saturday, 13 September. This London derby is expected to draw significant attention, and the later start time allows for prime-time television coverage.

The following weekend, Chelsea will travel to Old Trafford for a highly anticipated clash with Manchester United. The kick-off time for this fixture has been moved to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, 20 September. The new schedule aligns with the Premier League’s broadcasting arrangements for high-profile encounters.

These changes come as Chelsea looks to build on their strong finish last season, where they secured a top-four position behind Manchester City, Arsenal, and Liverpool. The Blues are aiming to continue their upward trajectory under the management of Enzo Maresca.

Maresca, who took over managerial duties ahead of the new season, has already tasted success, guiding Chelsea to victory in the FIFA Club World Cup earlier this month. The Blues clinched the international title by defeating French champions Paris Saint-Germain in a thrilling final held in the United States.

With confidence running high and squad preparations in full swing, Chelsea’s September fixtures will be key tests in their campaign for domestic glory. Fans are advised to take note of the updated match timings and stay tuned for more scheduling updates as the season progresses.
