Oladotun Ojuolape Kayode, best known as Do2dtun, is a Nigerian media personality who has criticized reality star Whitemoney for his ethnocentric comments during the 17th Headies Awards ceremony.
At the ceremony held on Sunday at the Eko Convention Centre in Lagos, Whitemoney accepted the Afrobeats Single Of The Year award on behalf of Flavour and stated that he was on stage on behalf of the Igbos.
On the other hand, several viewers were offended by the statement, accusing him of being tribalist for limiting Flavour’s fan base to Igbo people.
Responding on his 𝕏 Twitter, Do2dtun criticized Whitemoney for introducing tribal sentiment into the award show and emphasized that Flavour’s win was for all Afrobeats fans.
“On behalf of the Igbos,” he captioned it. That was really unnecessary, and I apologize. It didn’t require that kind of story. A Nigerian and an African both received the prize for Afrobeat. Headies 2025 “”
In the meantime, Do2dtun recently chimed in on the conflict between his senior colleague, Akorede Babatunde Okunola, also known as Saheed Osupa, and street pop artist Habeeb Okikiola, better known by his stage name Portable.

When the legendary Fuji musician removed his song from streaming services because to copyright violations, Portable reportedly made fun of him.
Following complaints from the Fuji singer and his distributors, Portable was taken off Spotify and Apple Music for using a lyric from Osupa’s song.
In an internet video that went viral, Portable, who was upset over Osupa’s behavior, attacked the senior colleague for covering his song.
The vocalist of “Zazu Zeh” criticized Osupa for not promoting his career like Pasuma and claimed that he is famous with no purpose.
Saheed Osupa would beat Portable from bus stop to bus stop over the insult, according to a post by Do2dtun via 𝕏 in response to the incident.
