President Bola Tinubu has been urged by Nigerian singer Harrison Tare Okiri, better known by his stage as Harrysong, to address insecurity by raising the wages of security personnel nationwide.

According to reports, he voiced his concerns about the existing pay and benefits of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Police, and other security groups in an Instagram message.

He claimed that the compensation for those who put their life in danger every day to defend the nation is still insufficient.

Increasing their well-being, according to Harrysong, would inspire police and fortify the battle against crime.

He pleaded with the administration to give front-line workers more job satisfaction.

He wrote, “TO MR. PRESIDENT.” WANT TO END INSECURITY IN NIGERIA 🌳🌬? Start by raising the pay and benefits for members of the armed services. The salaries of the army, navy, air force, and Nigerian police force are too meager and deplorable; they should be worth dying for. Please up their pay, please, please.

Actor Yul Edochie of Nollywood has criticized President Bola Tinubu for the current status of the country in a related development.

According to reports, Nigerians have been living in constant fear due to the current wave of kidnappings that have occurred around the nation.
