The mother of Imisi Ayanwale, the winner of BBNaija Season 10, has responded to allegations that she deserted her daughter and didn’t show up again until Imisi gained fame and fortune.

Rumors circulated online that she had abandoned her daughter and only returned after her success, according to reports, which is how the matter came to light.

She thanked God and Nigerians for their support throughout difficult times in a video that went viral.

She clarified that she has been living in peace with her younger sister in Ajah, where she has been welcomed, fed, and clothed by kind people.

Despite the criticism she received, she said her time was calm.

In response to those who accused her of negligence, she stated that her choice to keep quiet was deliberate and a question of caution rather than guilt.

She recalled that she had little time to be ready because the Big Brother house just told her about Imisi’s victory a few hours before it took place.

She ended by urging people to stop promoting hatred and instead treat one another with compassion and empathy.

“I’ve received mercy from God,” she declared. I sincerely appreciate all Nigerians, so thank you very much. In Ajah, I’m lodging with my younger sister. Some welcomed me, fed me, and clothed me, but others didn’t want me there. I’ve felt content and at ease.

I was accused by others of neglecting my kids. I like both those with good intentions and those who don’t. The Bible tells us to constantly stand up for the truth, and the elders advise us to listen quickly but respond slowly.

They are now pursuing me since Adeola, who they had promised the other day, is no longer available. Opeyemi is currently being followed by the same Adeola, who broke all of her commitments. It was me who was frantically trying to make sure my daughter would prosper and be able to help me escape poverty.

“Even on the day I went to Big Brother, I wasn’t informed until the very last minute—around 4 p.m.—that I needed to get dressed up because Imisi was going to be leaving the home. Is it meant to be like that?

“Let’s quit tearing each other down and learn to control our tongues. Why can’t we just live in love rather than hate and envy?
