According to reports, the CEO of Blessing expressed sympathy for Phyna’s death in a video that was uploaded on Sunday. However, she criticized her handling of her disagreement with VDM, claiming that it demonstrated ingratitude despite his prior support.
She maintained that rather than criticizing VDM and siding with his opponent, Izzy Ogbeide, Phyna could have looked to other activists or platforms.
The CEO of Blessing also criticized the Big Brother Naija winner for permitting her sister’s medical condition to be utilized as material for the internet, emphasizing that activists are people and should be respected.
She stated that it was inconsistent and preventable for Phyna to criticize VDM while yet anticipating his help.
