I’ll Never Join Politics, Not Even for $1bn – Bishop David Oyedepo

Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder of Living Faith Church, has made a commitment to stay out of political politics.

Despite being offered $1 billion to convince him otherwise, Oyedepo stated he would never enter political politics.

At Shiloh 2025, an impartation ceremony held at the church’s headquarters in Canaanland, Ota, Ogun State, he revealed this.

Oyedepo clarified that he chose to avoid the endeavor because partisan politics is not his path in life.

“I warned the church that trouble was coming in 2015,” he said. Didn’t problems arise?

“I’m not meant for partisan politics. I won’t enter politics even if you pay me $1 billion because that is not my path.

Oyedepo pointed out that because of the pressing need for divine intervention, the globe is in dire need.

“As stated in Romans 8:19, the entire world is waiting for the earnest manifestation of the sons of God, but the world is groaning in darkness,” he continued.

Drawing comparisons to biblical characters like Joseph and Daniel, the bishop claims that believers are being readied as an end-time army to offer solutions to national and global concerns.
