The well-known singer Niniola Apata has responded to rumors that she is secretly married.
Rumor had it that the “Maradona” crooner’s marriage was the reason for her lack of attention.
In a recent interview with Yanga FM Lagos, Niniola addressed the rumors and stated that she is not yet married.
She refuted rumors that she was hiding her marriage to avoid any negative impact on her bookings or career.
“I don’t care what anyone does or says [about my personal life],” the 38-year-old stated. I am not twelve years old, after all. I’m mature enough to express myself fully and say whatever I want. I’m not wed.
Niniola explained why she hasn’t yet worked with her younger sister, singer Teni, saying that the correct conditions must be met.
There is no family in business, she said, adding that music is a business.
