Inter Milan defeated Barcelona 7–6 on aggregate on Tuesday, May 6, after a thrilling 4–3 triumph in extra time at the legendary San Siro.
Francesco Acerbi’s equalizer in stoppage time took the game into extra time in the second leg, which was another spectacular match after the first leg ended 3–3 at Camp Nou.
Then, the home crowd went berserk when substitute Davide Frattesi scored the game-winning goal that guaranteed Inter’s place in the final, making him the hero.

Barcelona, who scored six goals in the two matches and entered the second leg with newfound hope, were devastated by their defeat.
The 13-goal match now shares the record for the most goals scored in a knockout round with two other historic Champions League matches: Bayern Munich vs. Sporting CP (2008-2009) and Liverpool vs. Roma (2017-2018).
