I Go Save, a Nigerian comedian, has chastised Nigerians for making fun of Afrobeats musician Burna Boy due to the cancelation of some of his performances.
A few weeks ago, Burna Boy reportedly requested a female fan to leave his act after he noticed her dozing off.
Some Nigerians in America demanded that his show be boycotted after the incident.
Due to low ticket sales, his performances in Chicago and Minneapolis were canceled two days ago.
During a recent performance in Dallas, the Grammy-winning musician addressed the event, apologizing to his fans and requesting their understanding.
“I know my ticket sales are suffering since that incident,” he stated. Nobody is purchasing even the coffee I introduced. Please accept my apologies for all I said. It was a verbal blunder.
Internet users who were happy by the development have expressed their happiness online.
I Go Save responded by criticizing people who were celebrating the cancellation and calling their behavior “witchcraft” in an Instagram Stories post.
He maintained that despite human animosity, God would never stop blessing those he desires.
“Burna concert kick out might be wrong or right depending on the sides you stand on,” he wrote.
However, it is witchcraft for the same sinners to promote and celebrate a man’s daily bread cancelation source! I assumed that every Sunday, your clergymen would teach about forgiveness.
