To welcome her daughter, Priscilla Ojo, her husband, Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, and their newborn baby, Rakeem, back to Nigeria, Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo threw a lavish homecoming ceremony in Lagos.
Traditional drummers, singers, and dancers welcomed the family and filled the air with joy and song.
Priscilla’s godmother and businesswoman, Chioma Ikokwu, also known as Chioma GoodHair, was among the friends and family that joined in the celebrations in a video posted on Iyabo Ojo’s Instagram page on Tuesday with the message, “Welcome to Nigeria #rakeem_mk.”
The family’s return comes after a lavish 40-day celebration and baby Rakeem’s naming ceremony in Tanzania earlier this month.
In addition, Priscilla thanked her mother and godmother on her Instagram Story by posting glimpses of their trip from Tanzania to Nigeria.
“Rakeem is fortunate. The woman tweeted, “Thank you, Glamma and Godmother #iyaboojofespris and #chiomagoodhair.”
According to reports, on August 24, 2025, Priscilla gave birth to her son in Canada. She then returned to Tanzania, where Juma threw a lavish celebration in their honor.
Baby Rakeem is visiting Nigeria for the first time for the Lagos celebration.
