Cristiano Giuntoli, Juventus’ sporting director, has refuted suggestions that the Italian club is close to signing Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen.
Victor Osimhen, who is presently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, has a €75 million exit clause, sparking speculation among clubs looking to improve their attacking options.
The 26-year-old Nigerian forward has frequently been linked with a move to Juventus, particularly given Giuntoli’s prior role in Osimhen’s career.

While acting as Napoli’s sports director, Giuntoli was instrumental in negotiating the player’s move from French club Lille to Serie A.

Giuntoli reiterated his views on Osimhen in an interview with Derin Football, claiming that he is not interested. The rumors you read in the Italian media are merely intended to put pressure on us. Juventus does not want the player.
Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund winger Karim Adeyemi has explained why he chose to represent Germany rather than Nigeria, despite having a Nigerian father and a Romanian mother.

The 23-year-old forward, who was born in Munich, Germany, has the unusual chance to represent Nigeria, Germany, or Romania.

When asked why he chose Germany over Nigeria, Adeyemi said, “It’s a difficult question.” I have to answer this to my father several times.”

He went on to say that his encounters with the German Football Association, as well as the warm feelings he had from them, had a significant impact on his decision.

“I felt good there. And, in the end, I had to play for Germany. “This is how easy it is,” he explained.

Since joining the German national team, Adeyemi has made six appearances and scored one.
