The All Progressives Congress (APC) Lagos State Chapter stated on Friday that Nigeria is taking historic, tangible actions to secure the country and bring back stability in the face of increased insecurity.

Tinubu proclaimed a State of Emergency on Security, according to Mogaji Seye Oladejo, the spokesperson for the APC’s arm, in a daring step that demonstrated zero tolerance for terrorism, sabotage, and criminality.

Oladejo stated in a statement he signed that the president’s decision to approve the hiring of an extra 20,000 police officers, bringing the total number of new hires under his administration to an astounding 50,000, demonstrates his commitment to securing Nigeria.

The present hiring frenzy, he said, is the biggest security growth in recent memory.

Recent events indicate that Tinubu is acting decisively, according to Oladejo.

“Unlike the empty talkers posing as statesmen, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is taking concrete, historic steps to secure Nigeria and restore national stability,” he declared.

“In a daring and unprecedented measure, he has proclaimed a State of Emergency on Security, signifying zero tolerance for terrorism, sabotage, and criminality.

“He has authorized the hiring of an additional 20,000 police officers, bringing the total number of new hires under his leadership to an astounding 50,000 personnel—the biggest security increase in recent memory.

“These actions aren’t purely decorative. A president who won’t give up a single square inch of Nigerian territory to terrorists or their political backers is taking these calculated, extensive steps.

“President Tinubu provides capacity, while the opposition sells fear.” While they complain outside, he fortifies Nigeria at home.
