Liverpool Shake-Up: Salah Responds as Alexander-Arnold Leaves
After Trent Alexander-Arnold officially announced his departure at the end of the current campaign, Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah posted a farewell message to the defender.
Alexander-Arnold will join Real Madrid on a free transfer after turning down a new deal with his boyhood team.
The 26-year-old joined the recently crowned Premier League winners at the age of six.
With Liverpool, Alexander-Arnold has won eight major awards since graduating from the academy.
The England international emphasized that even though he will play elsewhere, he will continue to support Liverpool and called his impending departure the “hardest decision of his life.”

On the right side of Liverpool’s attack, Salah and Alexander-Arnold have developed a solid partnership over the previous eight years. On Monday, Salah decided to take stock of the good times.
“Playing with you and sharing a unique friendship has been a pleasure. His Instagram post included a series of pictures of the two of them playing together for Liverpool. “I wish you the best and I am sure we will meet again,” he wrote.
Alexander-Arnold responded with the words “big bro” and two love heart emojis.
