A pastor, David Eludi, has been arraigned before an Ojo Magistrate’s Court in Lagos State for allegedly obtaining N352,000 from a woman under false pretenses.
The Prosecutor, Dr Simon Uche, told the court that the defendant committed the offences in November in the Jakande area of Ajangbadi in Ojo.
According to News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, Eludi, who pleaded not guilty to the charges of conspiracy, obtaining by false pretenses, and stealing, was accused of conspiring with others to deceive Florence Samuel into believing that the money would be used for “family liberation” rituals.
The case was adjourned till January 12, 2024, for mention.
