Despite recent setbacks, Manchester United is apparently thinking about keeping Rúben Amorim as head coach despite the club’s management’s steadfast support.
On Thursday, transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano said that the team intends to assist Amorim during the next transfer window as they work to rebuild under his direction.
In the UEFA Europa League final on Wednesday, Manchester United was reportedly defeated 1-0 by Tottenham, who won their first European championship since 1984.
Spurs are currently in 16th place in the Premier League rankings going into the season’s last game, which is a sad chapter in the team’s history.

But Romano said Thursday that “Manchester United’s message is clear: they believe Rúben Amorim is the right man for the job, and they stand by the manager and support him.”
Unless something unexpected happens, the objective is to keep Amorim leading, the transfer expert stated.
“It is evident that the club intends to support Amorim unless something totally unexpected occurs, which in football can happen after significant disappointments.”
Wolves striker Matheus Cunha is reportedly being considered as a potential first-time signing under Amorim’s direction in keeping with this plan.
Romano also hinted that Alejandro Garnacho would depart the team this summer, subject on both parties accepting and agreeing to a suitable offer.
