Mojisola Raimi Emerges Miss World Nigeria 2025

Osun State representative Miss Joy Mojisola Raimi, 24, received the title of 2025 Miss World Nigeria.
According to reports, Miss Raimi was proclaimed the winner in the grand finale of the beauty contest, which took place at the Federal Palace Hotel on Victoria Island in Lagos.
Senator Ben Murray-Bruce, the organizer of the Miss World Nigeria contest, made the announcement on his 𝕏 Twitter on Saturday.

The beauty queen, who graduated from the University of Port Harcourt, defeated 36 other competitors to win Miss World Nigeria.

From May 7 to May 31, 2025, Raimi will compete for Nigeria in the 72nd Miss World Pageant in Hyderabad, India.
“Congratulations to Joy Mojisola Raimi, the 24-year-old representing Osun State, on winning Miss World Nigeria 2025!” commented Senator Murray-Bruce. 37 competitors from all around Nigeria fought for the top spot in the grand finale, which was held at the Federal Palace Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos.

Raimi, a graduate of the University of Port Harcourt, is enthusiastic about helping others and started the “Love for Humanity” project with the goal of reviving human faith and fostering love.

Raimi competed against Miss Imo, Miss Ebonyi, Miss Abuja, and Miss Abia in the championship round. She gave her moving account of growing up without a mother and dealing with abuse from her caregiver in response to a question about overcoming bullying. She underlined that, in spite of being told she would never amount to anything, she has demonstrated by reaching this milestone that she is capable of doing so.

“Raimi will compete against contestants from 140 countries as Miss World Nigeria 2025, representing Nigeria at the 72nd Miss World pageant in Hyderabad, India, from May 7 to May 31.”
