Amazing Tiwa Savage, a Nigerian singer, has brushed off rumors that she purposefully released her sex tape.
Recall that the singer made headlines in October 2021 when someone attempting to extort her posted her sex film online.
Some sections of the public criticized and chastised Tiwa Savage for refusing to be extorted when the video was revealed.
However, Tiwa Savage claimed in a recent interview with American radio station Hot 97 that if she had intended to utilize the sex tape to get sympathy, she would have done so purposefully.
“I got a lot of backlash for my sex video,” she claimed. Many people believe that I was merely attempting to win them over. Even those who had platforms were awful and blamed me.
How they failed to perceive me as the victim in this is beyond me. I did it to be relevant, they claimed. I would have been deliberate if I were doing that. I would have made use of better lighting, appropriate lingerie, and well-chosen face expressions.
Tiwa Savage, meantime, recently revealed details of a previous relationship she had with a well-known figure that was kept secret from the public.
In an appearance on The JMatt Show, she disclosed that the man, who was also in the spotlight, insisted on keeping their connection confidential.
According to Savage, she first agreed to the arrangement but later had concerns about it due to the extraordinary measures he took to keep their secret safe.
She claimed that the man insisted on acting as though they were strangers in public, even going so far as to mix with other people in plain sight of her.
As part of his effort to avoid suspicion, Savage acknowledged that the scenario became awkward, particularly when he acted in ways that prevented her from reacting.
