On Thursday, Nollywood actress Bisola Badmus celebrated her birthday by reflecting on a difficult period in her life.
According to reports, she disclosed that her health issue started in 2022 after medical professionals determined she had a brain tumor.
She stated that before she recovered, the sickness depleted her savings, debilitated her, and almost killed her.
She said it was a terrifying experience that she would never want for anyone.
She said thanks to God for keeping her alive and giving her strength back.
She also mentioned that she can now enjoy another year because she is completely well.
The actress also sent her sincere gratitude to those who helped her through difficult times, stating that she is unable to name them all but is still appreciative.
In addition, Bisola expressed gratitude to her friends, family, coworkers, and most importantly, her son Abdul Malik, who she said supported her through the most trying times.
In order to raise him well and spend quality time with him, she hoped for a long life.
She acknowledged that she had suffered a lot over the course of therapy, but she was grateful that her life had been saved as she rejoiced.
She called herself a living example and invited her followers to join her in giving thanks to God.
She had previously highlighted how much she had undergone and shared a picture from her treatment days while counting down to her birthday.
She insisted that her survival is evidence of divine intervention.
