Nollywood actor, Okey Bakassi officially crowned King in Imo State

Okey Bakassi, a well-known comedian and Nollywood actor, has been anointed king of the Umuihuocha village in Imo State.

In a video he posted on Tuesday, Okey Bakassi’s kinsmen formally introduced him as the traditional leader of the Umuihuocha Autonomous Community in Mbaise.

A magnificent celebration of Igbo culture and custom took place during the coronation of the actor who is now known as “His Royal Highness Eze Okechukwu Onyegbule, the Okwe II of Umuihuocha Obohia.”

On his Instagram page, Okey Bakassi posted the ceremony’s video along with the caption, “Special presentation as king (Eze) of Umuihuocha community.”

According to reports, Bakassi declared his selection as the traditional ruler just two weeks before to his coronation.
